Vicki Hicks
Lead Counselor (Younger Campers)
Hi! My name is Vicki Hicks and I have worked at FUMC Child Development Center since 2010. During that time I have worked with children ages 2-4. I love working with children and have thoroughly enjoyed watching my students learn and grow each year. I am originally from Indiana, where I received my Bachelor of Science  from the University of Southern Indiana. My husband and I and were relocated to this area in 1999, by his employer. I started working with children in 2000 at the FUMC church nursery on Sunday mornings. Years of that led me to the public school system, where I worked as an Instructional Assistant in a Preschool classroom. While there, I received extensive training and continuing education each month. I am also certified in Blueprint Curriculum training. I was thrilled, when years later I ended up back at FUMC Child Development Center. My family and I keep very busy with different sports and activities throughout the year. I am very blessed!
